Naloxone Training and Upcoming Community Seminars About Opioids

The Monroe County Department of Public Health is offering free training in how to use naloxone when an opioid overdose is suspected.

Sessions are in the morning and evening on the fourth Wednesday of the month. For more, go to www2.monroecounty.gov/health-index.php.

Community Education Seminars About Opioids

Monroe County has scheduled the following informational seminars:

Wheatland-Chili: 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6, T.J. Connor Cafeteria.

Webster: 6:30 p.m. Feb. 27, Willink Middle School Cafeteria.

Churchville-Chili: 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28, Performing Arts Center, Senior High School.

Hilton: 7 p.m. March 1, Hilton High School Auditorium.
Brighton: 7 p.m. March 12, Brighton High School Auditorium.
Brockport: 6 p.m., April 18, Brockport High School.

More information about each seminar will be provided to parents and students by the local school district.
