Update: Leaf collection ends this week! After this final pass, all leaves must be bagged to be collected by your refuse collection company.

Each Autumn, Webster Highway Department offers leaf collection at no cost to Webster residents. This beloved and relied-upon service saves residents time as they do not have to bag their leaves, rather they can place their leaf piles at the end of their lawn.
Periodic pickup updates will be made through our Current News and Projects page and social media platforms.
Our Highway crews operate by Zones, starting on the West side of Webster in Zone 1 (Bay Road area), and working East. We will announce each time a new run will begin. A complete run through town can take several days and is weather-dependent.
As you put out your leaves for pickup, please remember:
🍁 Please place your leaf piles at the end of your lawn, not in roadways or gutters. Gutters must be kept clear of leaves and debris to maintain proper drainage of water from roadways.
🍁 Leaves cannot be placed on the shoulder of the road. Placing leaves anywhere on the road surface is illegal and creates a hazardous situation. Wet leaves on the road surface are dangerous for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. We also want to ensure Highway Department crews can operate safely on the side of the road, away from traffic lanes.
🍁 Our leaf collection vehicles are only equipped to collect leaves. Please do not mix any twigs, branches, or other debris in with leaves.
